Eligibility Criteria (Educational Qualification)

Health Supervisor & Multi-Purpose Health Worker

10+2 (Intermediate) in Science stream, or I.Sc. from a recognized institution.

Junior Field Investigator

10+2 (Intermediate) with Mathematics as a mandatory subject from a recognized board.

Veterinary / Medical Assistant, Insect Collector & Fishery Technical Assistant

10+2 (Intermediate) with Biology as a mandatory subject from a recognized institution.

JSSC JILCCE Selection Process 2026

Selection happens in two stages, unless the number of applicants is below 50,000 (in which case JSSC may go straight to the Mains exam):

Stage 1: Preliminary Exam (2 Hours)

Stage 2: Mains Exam

This is the step. It has 3 papers. Each paper is 2 hours long.

1. Paper 1 is about language. It is qualifying. You have to answer questions in Hindi and English. There are 60 questions in each language.
2. Paper 2 is regional or tribal language. You have 100 questions to answer. You can choose from languages like Hindi, English, Urdu and others. You need to get least 30 percent to qualify.
3. Paper 3 is about knowledge. It has 120 questions. These questions are about studies, Jharkhand, science, math, reasoning and basic computer knowledge. You need to get least 30 percent to qualify.

They make the list from the marks you get in Paper 2 and Paper 3. You get 3 marks for each answer. If you answer wrong they take away 1 mark. So it is better to be sure of your answers. This is especially important for Jharkhand questions because they have weight.

JSSC JILCCE Pay Scale

If you get selected your salary will be between ₹5,200 and ₹20,200 per month. This is called Pay Band-I. You also get Grade Pay, which can be between ₹1,800 and ₹2,400. This depends on the job you get. You also get benefits like allowances from the Jharkhand government. Your total salary will be around ₹25,000 to ₹35,000 per month.. This can vary depending on your job, where you live and other things.

To apply online you need to follow these steps.

1. Go to the JSSC website. The website is jssc.jharkhand.gov.in.

2. Click on "Online Application for JILCCE-2026" under the recruitment section.

3. Register with your number and email ID. You will get a registration number and password.

4. Log in. Fill the application form. Make sure your name, fathers name, category and address are exactly as they are in your Matriculation certificate.

5. Choose the job you want if you are eligible for, than one job.

6. Upload your photograph and signature in the format.

7. Pay the application fee online using your debit card, credit card or net banking.

8. Check your form carefully submit it and save or print a copy for yourself.
