CCRUM Group C Mock Test Series 2027: Free 100-Mark CBT Practice for MTS, UDC, LDC, Steno, Pharmacist & Technical Posts
Welcome to the best practice website for anyone who is aiming for Group C positions with the Central Council for Research in Unani Medicine (CCRUM), under the Ministry of Ayush. On this page you will find the ccrum group c mock test series 2027, which is designed for candidates applying for the Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS), Upper Division Clerk (UDC), Lower Division Clerk (LDC), Stenographer Grade-III, Pharmacist, Compounder, Radiographer, Social Worker, and Staff Car Driver roles. You can access post-specific mock tests that are strictly in line with the official 100-minute, 70+20+10 CBT format, so that you are fully prepared for the syllabus as outlined in Advt. No. 01/2026.
Why I Built This Mock Test Series
"I'm Shubham Kumar Sah, founder of MockTestCenter.com.
Out of the 179 vacancies in CCRUM Advertisement No. 01/2026, more than 120 sit inside Group Cโled by 43 MTS posts, 31 UDC posts and 26 LDC posts. Yet almost every test platform hands Group C aspirants a recycled SSC mock test that gets CCRUM's most important rules wrong.
First, CCRUM's official syllabus states that there is no negative marking in the Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS) examination, while UDC, LDC, Stenographer, Pharmacist and other Group C posts carry a 0.25 mark penalty per wrong answer. If you take an MTS mock test that deducts marks for wrong answers, you train yourself to leave questions blank when you should be attempting all 100.
Second, coaching blogs routinely tell Upper Division Clerk (UDC) aspirants to prepare for a typing test that the official notification only prescribes for Lower Division Clerk (LDC). And for technical posts like Unani Compounder and Staff Car Driver, generic mocks completely miss the 20-mark IT & Computing block and the 20-mark Vehicle Maintenance section.
So we built this 2027 CCRUM Group C Mock Test Series with a zero-negative-marking engine for MTS, a dedicated 70+20+10 clerical engine for UDC, LDC and Stenographer, and post-specific technical mocks for Pharmacist, Compounder, Radiographer, Social Worker and Driver.
Most of the series is free. A diagnostic test should not sit behind a paywall.
Every test here has to pass one check: does it follow the exact marking scheme and 70+20+10 syllabus notified for your specific CCRUM Group C post? If not, it does not get published."
AMBER CALLOUT BOX: 4 Critical Rules Many CCRUM Group C Mocks Get Wrong
- (1) ZERO Negative Marking in MTS versus a -0.25 Penalty in the Other 8 Posts: Do not let general-purpose mock tests mislead your preparation! While the exams for UDC, LDC, Steno, Pharmacist, Compounder, Radiographer, Social Worker, and Driver all have a -0.25 penalty for each wrong answer, the Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS โ 43 vacancies) exam officially has ZERO negative marking. Therefore, in a CCRUM MTS mock test if you leave any question unanswered, you are losing marks that could have been gained.
- (2) NO Separate Typing Test for UDC versus a Mandatory Test for LDC: Many websites get the clerical requirements wrong. According to Advt. 01/2026, a mandatory qualifying typing test (35 words per minute in English / 30 words per minute in Hindi) is required for LDC (26 vacancies). In contrast, the selection for UDC (31 vacancies) is entirely based on the 100-mark CBT and there is no separate typing test specified!
- (3) The Nuances of the 70+20+10 Structure (Special Cases for Compounder and Driver): A one-size-fits-all paper wonโt prepare you properly. For clerical posts the test consists of 70 marks in English/Intelligence/Quantitative Ability/Reasoning + 20 marks in General Knowledge + 10 marks in IT. However, the Compounder post increases the IT and Computing section to 20 marks (70 marks in core subjects + 20 marks in IT + 10 marks in GK/Reasoning), and the Staff Car Driver post includes 20 marks on Vehicle Maintenance (70 marks in Matric-level content + 10 marks in GK/Reasoning + 20 marks in Vehicle Maintenance)!
- (4) There is No Interview for Group C: In accordance with Central Government rules, no interview is held for any Group C post. The final merit is entirely determined by your 100-mark CBT score (subject to passing any required skill or driving test where applicable).
To succeed in obtaining a Group C post with CCRUM, you need a deep understanding of your specific professional field or of the clerical syllabus (70 marks) combined with accuracy in the specialized 30-mark secondary sections. Since the vacancies are localised (for example, 43 for MTS and 31 for UDC), standard SSC mock tests are completely inadequate in preparing you for the IT, Vehicle Maintenance, or Ayush-specific standards tested here. Our ccrum group c mock test series 2027 system provides the exact segmentation needed for you to qualify.

Attempt the Free CCRUM Group C Mock Test Series 2027 (5-Tab Post-Wise Hub)
Choose the tab that exactly matches the post you have applied for to start the correct 100-question CBT simulator.
This simulator is special in that it turns off negative marking (+1.00 / 0.00) and shows a warning if you try to submit with any questions left unanswered. It mirrors the actual 70+20+10 level of difficulty for the 43 MTS posts, making sure you can get the most out of your score without the fear of penalties.
Access the common 70 (General English, Intelligence, Numerical Ability & Reasoning) + 20 (General Knowledge) + 10 (IT & Computing) CBT engine. It applies a -0.25 negative marking penalty and is adjusted to the level required for Graduates (UDC) and 12th-pass candidates (LDC/Steno).
Focus on the 70-mark professional blocks specific to each post (Diploma in Pharmacy, Radiography, Unani Compounder Certificate, and BA Sociology + 20 marks Medical Sociology/Nutrition). This tab properly aligns the secondary sections with the official syllabus.
Concentrate on the specialised 20-mark Vehicle Maintenance exercises, which include traffic signs, motor vehicle regulations, and engine fault diagnosis. You can also access 20-mark Ayush GK and 10-mark MS Office/IT exercises that are shared across many Group C posts.
Get ready for Stage 2. Take part in live 10-minute KDPH typing tests (10,500 KDPH in English / 9,000 KDPH in Hindi) and 80 wpm audio dictation exercises. You can also download printable PDF solution booklets for studying offline.
Blueprint for pacing on a minute-by-minute basis for the 100-minute CBT without Sectional Locks
Table 1: Clerical & MTS Track (UDC / LDC / Steno / MTS)
In the first 18 minutes (in the Secondary Sections) do the 20M GK and 10M IT sections quickly (answer 30 questions in 18 minutes); for each question you either know the capital city or the shortcut key or you don't.
For the period minutes 19 to 88 (Core 70M Block) spend 70 minutes on the General English, Reasoning, and Numerical Ability section since this involves heavy calculation and careful reading.
For the final review covering minutes 89 to 100, spend 12 minutes carrying out the 50:50 elimination pass, during which MTS candidates must make sure that each and every bubble is filled (i.e. achieve a 100 per cent completion pass).
Table 2: Technical & Paramedical Track (Pharmacist / Radiographer / Compounder / Social Worker / Driver)
For the first 58 minutes you should work on your main subject area questions (these can be Pharmacy, Radiography, Unani formulations, Sociology, or the general Matric questions).
For the 30M General/IT/Vehicle Maintenance/Medical Sociology sections, assign 31 minutes.
In the period from minute 91 to 100 (Final Review), a 10-minute checkover was carried out, with any changes being restricted to the options that had been eliminated in order to avoid the -0.25 penalty.
Which of the CCRUM Group C 2027 Mock Tracks Should You Apply For? (9-Post Selector Matrix)

Post-wise High-Yield Syllabus Topics and 10 Step-by-Step Solved Sample Questions
Clerical & MTS Section 1 (70 Marks): General English, Numerical Ability and Reasoning (4 Solved MCQs)
Q1. (English Grammar/Cloze) The new employee was apprehensive _______ making mistakes during his first week of training.
A. of [Correct]
B. about
C. for
D. with
Option (Correct): A. of [Correct] โ Reason: It is conventional for the adjective "apprehensive" to be followed by the preposition "of" when it means fearful of what may happen.
Option (Incorrect): B, C, D โ Reason: These prepositions do not form the correct idiomatic combination with "apprehensive" according to standard grammar.
Hint: Consider examples such as "fearful of" or "scared of".
Q2. (Arithmetic - Percentage/Time-Work) If A can finish a task in 20 days and B can do it in 30 days, how many days will it take them to complete it if they work together?
A. 10 days
B. 12 days [Correct]
C. 15 days
D. 25 days
Correct option: B. 12 days [Correct] โ Reason: Since A can complete the work in 20 days, A's amount of work in one day is 1/20; similarly, since B can complete it in 30 days, B's amount of work in one day is 1/30; together they can do (1/20 + 1/30) which equals (3+2)/60 = 5/60 = 1/12; hence they will take 12 days to complete it.
Option (Incorrect): A, C, and D โ Reason: These answers are obtained from wrong LCM calculations or from simple averaging.
Hint: Use the formula $xy / (x + y)$ when dealing with two workers.
Q3. (Coding-Decoding) In a certain code, 'ROAD' is written as 'TQCF'. How is 'PATH' written in that code?
A. RCVJ [Correct]
B. RCVI
C. QBUG
D. RDUJ
Option (Correct): A. RCVJ [Correct] โ Reason: The pattern involves moving each letter two places forward in the alphabet. R plus two is T, O plus two is Q, A plus two is C, D plus two is F. P plus two is R, A plus two is C, T plus two is V, H plus two is J. The result is RCVJ.
Option (Incorrect): B, C, D โ Reason: The alphabetic shifts are incorrect.
Hint: Move each letter exactly two positions forward in the alphabet.
Question 4 (Number Series): Find the next number in the series: 3, 8, 15, 24, 35, ?
A. 46
B. 48 [Correct]
C. 44
D. 50
Correct answer: B. 48 [Correct] โ Reason: The differences between each consecutive term are increasing odd numbers: +5, +7, +9, +11. The next difference is therefore +13. 35 plus 13 equals 48. Alternatively, use the formula $n^2 - 1$ where n takes the values 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 (7 squared minus 1 equals 48).
Option (Incorrect): A, C, D โ Reason: These do not match the pattern of increasing differences.
Hint: Consider the gap between the numbers.
Paramedical & Technical Core: Pharmacist/Compounder, Social Worker (Medical Sociology) and Driver (Vehicle Maintenance) (3 solved MCQs)
Q5. (Pharmacology/Unani Drug Formulations) In Unani medicine, what is the main purpose of 'Majoon' formulations?
A. Applicating it to skin disorders
B. Ophthalmic drops
C. Administration by mouth in the form of an electuary or a confection [Correct]
D. Inhalation therapy
Correct answer: C [Correct] โ this is because Majoon is a semi-solid Unani preparation (a confection or electuary) which is taken by mouth and is usually made using honey or sugar.
Options A, B, and D are incorrect โ Marham is used externally, Qutoor is used for the eyes, and Inkabab is the one used for inhalation.
Hint: Consider a sweet paste that is eaten orally.
Question 6. (Social Worker - Medical Sociology) What is the term for the study of the social and cultural factors that affect health, illness, and medical care?
A. Clinical Psychology
B. Epidemiology
C. Medical Sociology [Correct]
D. Bioethics
Option (Correct): C. Medical Sociology [Correct] โ Reason: Medical Sociology specifically looks at the way social structures, cultural norms, and socioeconomic status affect health and illness.
Option (Incorrect): A, B, D โ Reason: Epidemiology is concerned with the distribution of disease, psychology deals with the mind, and bioethics addresses moral questions in medicine.
Hint: Concentrate on the relationship between societal factors and healthcare.
Q7. (Vehicle Maintenance - Staff Car Driver) What is the main role of a radiator in a motor vehicle?
A. To produce electricity for the battery
B. Mixing air and fuel
C. To remove heat from the engine coolant. [Correct]
D. To filter the exhaust gases
Correct answer: C [Correct] โ Reason: The radiator is an important part of the cooling system, having the hot coolant pass through its fins so that heat can be released into the air, thus preventing the engine from overheating.
Options A, B, and D are incorrect โ Reason: The alternator produces electricity, the carburetor or injector mixes air with fuel, and the catalytic converter filters the exhaust.
Hint: Its function is to prevent the engine from becoming too hot.
Common section for Sections 2 and 3 (30 marks): Ministry of Ayush โ General Knowledge, General Awareness and IT/Computing (3 solved multiple choice questions)
Q8. (Ministry of Ayush โ General Knowledge) Which Union Ministry has the Central Council for Research in Unani Medicine (CCRUM) as an autonomous body under it?
A. Ministry of Health and Family Welfare
B. The Ministry of Ayush [Correct]
C. The Ministry of Science and Technology
D. Ministry of Education
Correct answer: B. Ministry of Ayush [Correct] โ because CCRUM functions as an autonomous body which is directly subordinate to the Ministry of Ayush, Government of India.
Incorrect options: A, C, D โ although they are related to health and science, the specific administrative parent of CCRUM is the Ministry of Ayush.
Hint: The abbreviation stands for Ayurveda, Yoga & Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha and Homeopathy.
Question 9. (IT & Computing) In Microsoft Word, which shortcut key is used to undo the last action?
A. Ctrl plus Z [Correct]
B. Ctrl + Y
C. Ctrl + X
D. Ctrl + C
Option (Correct): A. Ctrl + Z [Correct] โ Reason: Ctrl + Z is the universal Windows shortcut for the Undo command.
Option (Incorrect): B, C, and D โ Reason: Ctrl + Y is the Redo command, Ctrl + X is the Cut command, and Ctrl + C is the Copy command.
Hint: This is the most common shortcut for instantly correcting a mistake.
Question 10. (Cyber Security / IT) What does 'HTTP' stand for in web addresses?
A. HyperText Transfer Protocol [Correct]
B. HyperTerminal Transmission Process
C. HyperText Transmission Program
D. HyperTransfer Text Protocol
Option (Correct): A. HyperText Transfer Protocol [Correct] โ Reason: HTTP is the basic protocol employed by the World Wide Web for specifying how messages are formatted and transmitted.
Option (Incorrect): B, C, D โ Reason: These are wrong expansions of the acronym.
Hint: It is concerned with transferring hypertext over the internet.
Qualifying Skill Tests following the 100-mark CBT: LDC Typing, Steno Dictation and Driver Trade Rules
Stage 2 is purely qualifying and does not contribute to your 100-mark CBT score; however, if you fail it, you are immediately disqualified.
| Group C Requirement after the Stage-2 Skill Test (Advt. No. 01/2026) |
|---|
| Lower Division Clerk (LDC) Computer Typing Test: 10 minutes (30 minutes for eligible VH). The required speed is 35 wpm in English (10,500 KDPH) or 30 wpm in Hindi (9,000 KDPH). English is the default if no medium is specified. |
| Stenographer Grade-III 10-minute dictation at 80 wpm (800 words); computer transcription: 50 minutes in English (70 minutes with a scribe) or 65 minutes in Hindi (90 minutes with a scribe). |
| Staff Car Driver A mandatory practical driving test which assesses vehicle control and compliance with traffic rules. |
| UDC and MTS No skill or typing test is prescribed; selection is entirely based on the CBT score. |
Minimum Qualifying Marks (30% for UR/OBC/EWS/Ex-SM and 25% for SC/ST/PwBD) versus Safe Target Scores in CCRUM Group B Mock Tests (Small-Cadre Reality Check)
Do not be misled by the statutory minimum qualifying marks (30% for UR/OBC/EWS/Ex-SM and 25% for SC/ST/PwBD). Scoring 30 marks out of 100 will not get you a job in CCRUM because the number of vacancies is very low (for example, Accounts Officer: 1 post, RA Botany: 3 posts, MLT: 12 posts), so the actual cutoff is set by the top few candidates.
| Post and Vacancies | Safe Target Score (for UR/OBC) | Reasoning |
|---|---|---|
| MTS (43 posts) | 82 to 86 plus marks | Due to a high cutoff caused by the absence of negative marking and the large number of candidates who have passed class 10. |
| UDC (31 posts) | 76 to 80 plus marks | There is competition at the graduate level, although there is no typing test that eliminates candidates afterwards. |
| LDC (26 posts) | 74 to 78 plus marks | The initial CBT cutoff is slightly lower since candidates will be filtered out during the 35 wpm typing test. |
| Technical/Driver | 75 to 82 plus marks | This depends greatly on performance in the specialised 20-mark sections (IT and Maintenance). |
How to Analyze Your Mock Response Sheet & Departmental Error-Log Template
Audit your performance by checking your raw CBT score (Correct - 0.25 x Wrong). Estimate how your 60-mark APAR affects the CBT score you need in Track B.
| Mock # & Track [A/B] | Section | Topic | Error Reason | Fix Action | Retest Date |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Ex: Mock 2 (Track A) | CSMOP | e-Office File Movement | Confused OM with Office Order | Review Chapter 8 of CSMOP manual on Forms of Communication. | After 2 days |
| Ex: Mock 4 (Track B) | English CBT | Active-Passive | Grammar Rule Slip | Revise simple past to passive conversion rules. | After 3 days |
| Ex: Mock 3 (Track A) | Gen Knowledge | Const. of India (Art 311) | Over-Guessed Static GK | Skip highly specific article questions if unsure to save 0.25 marks. | After 4 days |
