UPSC CAPF 2027 Mock Test: Pass Assistant Commandant Written and Physical Test
Becoming an Assistant Commandant (AC) in forces like BSF, CRPF, CISF, ITBP, and SSB is a very big dream. The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) conducts this exam every year. You must clear Paper 1 (Objective), Paper 2 (Descriptive), the Physical Efficiency Test (PET), and the Interview. Practicing a UPSC CAPF 2027 Mock Test is the best way to handle negative marking in Paper 1 and write fast essays in Paper 2. Read this simple guide to understand the complete micro syllabus, physical standards, cutoff marks, and booklist.
Why I Built This Mock Test Series
Many aspirants see the word "Assistant Commandant" and think that it is an examination which you have no need to prepare for Paper 2 or the interview early. It is precisely at this point that the majority of them make their mistake.
My name is Shubham Kumar Sah and I operate MockTestCenter.com as I myself am preparing for the UPSC. I don't usually spend a great deal of time considering other exams, except that I come across candidates who regarded the CAPF descriptive paper and interview as a minor concern and were therefore eliminated by those who didn't.
That's the actual requirement of the exam: 125 objective questions worth 250 marks in Paper 1, and a 200-mark descriptive Paper 2 covering Essays, Arguments, Reports, and English Grammar, with 1/3 negative marking in Paper 1. It seems simple in theory. The difficulty people experience is what comes after the written examβthis selection process isn't limited to the written test since physical test results and interview marks (150 marks) are added to your written score when calculating the final merit. If you perform well in the written exam but go into the interview unprepared, you'll have wasted the marks you had already earned fairly and properly.
The entire series is based on this combination. The mock exams offered here follow the actual Paper 1 and Paper 2 format, which means the written section is no longer a mystery. Since Paper 2 writing and interview preparation is neglected more than any other stage in exams of this type, we give it the same level of seriousness as the written paperβnot treating it as an afterthought added at the end.
The written test and the practice materials are available in both Hindi and English. A significant portion of the series remains free since the fact that CAPF is regarded as a high-level exam does not imply that those preparing for it have less to gain from the result or that they have more money to spend in order to demonstrate that they are ready.
I am doing my own exam preparation at the same time as I'm putting this together, so with every item I consider I ask myself this question: would it be of any use to someone before they know their results from either the written exam or the interview? If the answer is no, then it will not be included on the site.

- Morning Concept Block (9:00 AM to 12:30 PM): Study General Science and Polity from standard textbooks. Create short one-liner notes.
- Afternoon Practice Block (2:00 PM to 4:30 PM): Write one Essay and one Argument daily. Practice English grammar for 30 minutes.

Common Mistakes Aspirants Make in UPSC CAPF 2027 Exam
β οΈ Avoid These Fatal Preparation Errors
- Ignoring Paper 2 Writing Practice: Paper 2 requires you to write continuously for 3 hours. Many students who score 130+ in Paper 1 fail because they cannot finish Paper 2 on time.
- Guessing Blindly in Paper 1: Negative marking is 1/3 (0.66 marks). Candidates who guess 15-20 questions blindly destroy their total score. Do not guess unless you can eliminate two options.
- Ignoring Physical Training: Many students think 800m is easy. But doing it in 3 minutes 45 seconds is very hard if you do not practice. Start running today.
