UPSSSC Lower PCS Mock Test 2027: Free Combined Lower Subordinate Services 100-Mark (65+15+20) Online Test Series
Last updated: 31 October 2026 | Reviewed by Ali Hassan, Senior Content Editor (Government Exams), MockTestCenter.com
The following disclaimer should be noted: the UPSSSC Lower PCS Mock Test 2027 has been designed in accordance with the official UPSSSC Combined Lower Subordinate Services (Advertised as No. 07-Exam/2026) three-part (65+15+20) syllabus and the Mains examination paper from 23 August 2026. It is recommended that candidates check the upcoming PET shortlisting cutoffs and the number of vacancies by post on the upsssc.gov.in website.
Why I Built This Mock Test Series
"I'm Shubham Kumar Sah, founder of MockTestCenter.com.
When UPSSSC released the revised Combined Lower Subordinate Services (Advt. No. 07-Exam/2026) syllabus and conducted the Mains exam on 23 August 2026, it completely rewrote the rules of Lower PCS preparation. The old 2019 two-stage exam with 300-mark Prelims and 400-mark Mains is gone—replaced by PET shortlisting and a single 100-question, 100-mark Mains paper in 120 minutes.
Even bigger was the subject shift inside those 100 marks. UPSSSC dropped traditional Reasoning and Elementary Arithmetic and gave 20 marks to Uttar Pradesh GK, 15 marks to Computer and emerging tech like AI and IoT, 10 marks to Data Interpretation, 10 marks to Environment and Disaster Management, and 10 marks to Science and Technology. Yet a shocking number of coaching test series still hand students recycled 2019 papers full of Reasoning puzzles.
So we built this 2027 UPSSSC Lower PCS Mock Test Series strictly around the 11-block (65+15+20) blueprint and calibrated every test to the 23 August 2026 official Mains paper. Our AI weak-area engine tracks your accuracy across all 11 blocks so you never lose marks in the 35-mark UP GK + Computer decider or the 10-mark DI section.
Most of the series is free. A diagnostic test should not sit behind a paywall.
Every test here has to pass one check: does it follow the exact 65+15+20 mark distribution of UPSSSC's revised Lower PCS Mains syllabus? If not, it does not get published."
AMBER CALLOUT BOX: 4 Fatal Mistakes in Competitor UPSSSC Lower PCS Mock Tests
When the UPSSSC is now adopting a single 100-mark mains paper following the PET, many coaching websites continue to offer test series in the outdated 2019 style consisting of 150 or 200 questions. However, according to the official UPSSSC Combined Lower Subordinate Services (Advt. No. 07-Exam/2026) scheme, there is no separate Lower PCS Prelims—candidates are selected on the basis of the UPSSSC PET and then take a SINGLE 100-question, 100-mark Main Written Examination (lasting 120 minutes with a negative mark of -0.25) and there is NO interview!
(2) By replacing Traditional Reasoning and Elementary Maths with three high-scoring sections: Part 1 (65 marks—comprising 10 million on Data Interpretation, 10 million on Environment and Disaster Management, 10 million on Science and Technology, 10 million on General Hindi, and 25 million on History/Polity/Geo/Economy/CA), Part 2 (15 marks on Computer, IT, AI & Cyber Innovation), and Part 3 (20 marks on Uttar Pradesh General Knowledge), the UPSSSC has revised its 100-mark Lower PCS syllabus to omit traditional Reasoning and Elementary Maths!
(3) Undervaluing the 35-mark question (20 marks on UP General Knowledge plus 15 marks on Computer/AI innovation): While general coaching websites regard UP General Knowledge and Computer studies as mere side notes, in fact 35 of the 100 marks are derived directly from Uttar Pradesh General Knowledge and from modern technological developments such as AI, IoT, Cloud Computing, Cyber Security, and e-Governance; failing to take these topics into account will result in failure.
(4) Regarding the 23 August 2026 Exam (2,516 out of 2,587 posts): be cautious about out-of-date platforms which treat the most recent recruitment cycle as if it were a future event. The 2026 cycle (Advt. No. 07-Exam/2026 for 2,285 initial positions / 2,516 to 2,587 revised vacancies) held its Mains Written Exam on 23 August 2026 and made available its official provisional answer key on 25 August 2026. Our 2027 mock series has been calibrated directly to that official paper from 23 August 2026.
To pass the Combined Lower Subordinate Services examination administered by the Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission, one must have a complete knowledge of the new single-exam format worth 100 marks. Since 35% of the paper is based on Uttar Pradesh GK (20 marks) and Computer/AI (15 marks), and an additional 30% comes from Data Interpretation (10 marks), Environment (10 marks) and Science & Tech (10 marks), conventional general studies preparation is no longer enough. A well-structured mock test programme for the UPSSSC Lower PCS exam in 2027 will develop the speed and accuracy needed to gain positions such as Supply Inspector, Marketing Inspector, and Executive Officer.

Attempt Free UPSSSC Lower PCS Mock Test 2027 (5-Tab Practice Hub & AI Weak-Area Engine)
The practice portal is divided into five specific tabs in order that you may become proficient at each and every section of the revised syllabus.
The 120-minute bilingual simulator reproduces the precise blueprint of Advt. No. 07-Exam/2026 consisting of 25M Core GS, 10M Sci-Tech, 10M Environment, 10M DI, 10M Hindi, 15M Computer and 20M UP GK – with a negative marking of -0.25.
Try out a fully playable practice version of the 23 August 2026 Mains paper (the official answer key was released on 25 August 2026) together with previous year papers from 2019 that have been filtered by topic (excluding the Reasoning questions that have been deleted), all with downloadable bilingual PDF solutions.
You can access the high-yield sectional mock tests for Part 3 (covering 20M UP History, ODOP, UP Budget, Expressways, Tribes, Folk Dances, and UP Schemes) and for Part 2 (covering 15M Hardware/Software, MS Office, Networking, AI, Machine Learning, Blockchain, and e-Governance).
For the three 10-mark blocks which have taken the place of the old Reasoning/Arithmetic, take dedicated drills focusing on multi-table/pie/line DI sets at the UPSSSC PET level, as well as on the COP summits/Wildlife Acts/Disaster Management Act and on Space/Biotech/Defence technology.
Make use of the 30-minute drills, making sure that you achieve 9 or more out of 10 in General Hindi and 19 or more out of 25 in the five 5-mark traditional GS sections.
How Our AI Weak-Area Recommendation Engine Fixes Your Score Across All 11 Syllabus Blocks
Following each mock submission, the AI Weak-Area Report is produced.
(a) Instead of giving you a general overall score, it breaks down your score according to all 11 official topic areas.
(b) It highlights the confusion between statements and facts in the UP general knowledge and computer innovation sections.
(c) It records the amount of time you spend on the 10-mark Data Interpretation (DI) section.
Finally, it creates a custom 20-question repair quiz based on Tab 3, Tab 4, or Tab 5 to address your specific weak areas before your next full mock!

Verified "Last / Current / Future" Cycle Benchmark Table:
- In the 2019 baseline cycle there were 672 vacancies and the old pattern of Pre (300M) plus Mains (400M) was followed before the UPSSSC started using PET for shortlisting.
- For the 2026 cycle (Advt. No. 07-Exam/2026): The number of posts originally advertised was 2,285 and was increased by means of a corrigendum to 2,516 or 2,587. The mains examination took place on 23 August 2026 and the official provisional answer key was published on 25 August 2026.
- For the 2027 cycle the mocks will be calibrated to anticipate similar trends of over 2,500 vacancies and the amended 100-mark scheme (65 plus 15 plus 20).
Clearing the 4 Big Confusions About the UPSSSC Lower PCS Exam (2026–27)
| The Misunderstanding Among Aspirants | What Outdated Websites Say | The Official UPSSSC Rule (Advt. 07-Exam/2026) | How This Affects Your 2027 Mock Exam Strategy |
|---|---|---|---|
| Prelims vs Mains | Claims that there is a 300-mark Lower PCS Prelims exam. | There is no separate Lower PCS Prelims; instead, the PET directly shortlists candidates for the 100-mark Mains exam. | One should therefore concentrate completely on mastering the syllabus for the single 100-mark exam. |
| Reasoning & Maths vs 11-Block Syllabus | Assumes that traditional Reasoning and Arithmetic account for 50% of the paper. | Reasoning and Elementary Maths have now been eliminated, and instead 10 marks in Data Interpretation (DI), 10 marks in Environment, 10 marks in Sci-Tech, 15 marks in Computer, and 20 marks in UP GK make up 65 of the 100 marks. | Therefore, you should stop doing old Reasoning puzzles and allocate your study time to DI, Computer, and UP GK. |
| Upper PCS vs Lower PCS | Lower PCS is regarded as a miniature Civil Services examination consisting of descriptive papers. | The Lower PCS consists of one 100-mark objective MCQ paper and includes no interview. | For preparation one should engage in objective MCQ practice as well as take time-bound sectional tests. |
| General vs Accounts Posts | Claims that separate exams exist for posts specialised in accountancy. | The posts for the general graduate category (Supply Inspector, EO) and the Accounts posts all use the same 100-mark paper for the examination. | In order to obtain the top-preference executive posts it is necessary to score 80 or above, no matter what your specific graduation background is. |
UPSSSC Lower PCS Exam Pattern 2027 & How Our 100-Mark (65+15+20) Simulator Works
Complete 100-Mark (65 + 15 + 20) Official Exam Pattern & Topic-Weightage:
- Part 1 (GS relating to the subject, DI, Environment, Sci-Tech and Hindi): 65 questions | 65 marks.
- Part 2 (relating to computers, IT, AI and cyber innovation): 15 questions | 15 marks.
- Section 3 (General Knowledge for the state of Uttar Pradesh): 20 questions | 20 marks.
- Total: There are 100 objective multiple-choice questions | 100 marks | 120 minutes | negative marking of -0.25 | no interview.
Part 1 Simulator (65 Marks) — Five 5-Mark GS Blocks (25M) + Three 10-Mark Specialized Blocks (Sci-Tech, Environment, DI = 30M) + General Hindi (10M)
The first part makes up the standard core and includes topics on History, Polity, Geography, Economy, and Current Affairs (with 5 marks allocated to each of these, amounting to 25 marks), together with 10 marks each for Science and Technology, Environment and Disaster Management, Data Interpretation, and General Hindi. The simulator assesses your conceptual clarity in respect of these nine sub-topics.
Part 2 Simulator (15 Marks) — Computer Concepts, Networking, Cyber Security & Emerging Tech (AI, IoT, Cloud, e-Governance)
Section 2 is of major importance when it comes to determining rank. Instead of posing basic questions such as 'What is a CPU?', the UPSSSC now includes mock tests on advanced IT topics, such as operating systems, shortcuts in MS Office and LibreOffice, computer networking protocols, the Cyber Security acts, and emerging technologies including Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, IoT, Cloud Computing, and the Digital India e-governance initiatives.
Part 3 Simulator (20 Marks) — Uttar Pradesh State GK, District ODOP, UP Budget, Schemes & Administration
Section 3 is worth a total of 20 marks. Our simulator includes content on ancient and medieval history of Uttar Pradesh, folk art, dance, festivals, the geographical terrain, rivers, mineral resources, the One District One Product (ODOP) schemes, the budget allocations of Uttar Pradesh, the expressways, the agricultural zones, and the current matters concerning the administration of Uttar Pradesh.
The negative marking of -0.25 and the use of safe guessing in the 120-minute UPSSSC Lower PCS Exam
| Scenario guess | Probability of +1.00 | Probability of -0.25 | Mathematical expected value per question | Net score effect over 16 guesses | Verdict |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| For a blind guess among four options | 0.25 | 0.75 | 0.0625 | +1.00 Mark | Skip (Too risky) |
| One option is eliminated (three remain) | 0.33 | 0.67 | 0.1625 | +2.60 marks | Consider |
| Two options eliminated (50:50) | 0.50 | 0.50 | 0.375 | +6.00 Marks | Attempt! |
Example A: eliminating two options from the UP GK, Environment, or Polity questions results in a gain of +0.375 marks per question, so it is mathematically worthwhile to attempt the question if you are able to eliminate two obviously incorrect answers.
Example B: shows that if you make 16 random choices among four options, a raw score of 80.00 will be reduced to 76.00; in a very competitive examination a drop of four marks can easily cause you to be excluded from high-preference positions such as Executive Officer or Supply Inspector.
120-Minute (2-Hour) Pacing Blueprint: Why You Have 72 Seconds per Question (And Where to Spend Them)
| Time Allocation | Strategy details |
|---|---|
| Minutes 1 to 12 (12 minutes) | General Hindi section (10 questions) which achieved the fastest high level of accuracy: 9 to 10 out of 10 marks. |
| Minutes 13 to 32 (20 Mins) | Part 3, Uttar Pradesh GK (20 questions), 1 minute per question for careful statement reading. |
| Minutes 33 to 48 (16 minutes) | Part 2 — Computer and IT Innovation (15 questions). |
| Minutes 49 to 88 (40 minutes) | Part 1 – Theory sections, comprising History (5), Polity (5), Geography (5), Economy (5), Current Affairs (5), Science & Technology (10), and Environment and Disaster Management (10) = 45 questions in 40 minutes. |
| Minutes 89 to 110 (22 minutes) | Part 1 Data Interpretation (10 questions). You get 2 full minutes for each DI question so you don't make a mistake in percentage or ratio calculations. |
| Minutes 111 to 120 (10 Minutes) | OMR and Final 50:50 Check. |
