Why I built this Mock Test Series
I'm Shubham Kumar Sah, Founder of MockTestCenter.com. If you search for a UP Lekhpal mock test you'll still come across loads of sites selling the old 2022 pattern (25 marks Hindi, 25 marks Arithmetic, 25 marks GK and 25 marks Gram Samaj). If you're preparing on that old pattern you'll be absolutely unprepared for the paper on the day of the exam.
Under the new UPSSSC pattern (Advt. No. 02-Exam/2025 held on 21 May 2026 for 7994 posts) the standalone 25 mark Mathematics paper has been scrapped. You now have a 12 unit 3 part paper comprising 20 marks from UP GK, 15 marks from Computer and AI concepts, 10 marks from Data Interpretation charts, 10 marks from Environmental Ecology and Disaster Management and 10 marks from General Hindi.
That structural change is why the 11th September 2026 DV cut-off was 58.75 for General and 55.75 for OBC. The lot of students who had only studied the old Gram Samaj and Arithmetic books were absolutely flabbergasted by the 15 marks on Computer/IT, the 10 marks on Environment and the 10 marks on the DI tables (which were in a multi-layered format).
That's why the entire series is built around the new 65+15+20 pattern. There are separate tabs for the full length bilingual mocks, the 21st May 2026 official shift benchmark, the 45 mark UP GK + Computer + Environment booster and the dedicated DI drills (with printable OMR sheets). Most of the series is free. A diagnostic test should not be behind a paywall. Every test has to pass the test of whether it will help the aspirant walk into the exam hall with a clear understanding of the 12 unit weightage, the 0.25 negative marking and the offline OMR time strategy that is relevant to them. If it doesn't then it doesn't get published.
URGENT CORRECTION / AMBER CALLOUT BOX
Direct clarification for Revenue aspirants:
- (1) The old 25x4 pattern is dead: Quite simply, the old pattern of 25 Hindi + 25 Maths + 25 GK + 25 Gram Samaj that you'll find on numerous coaching institute websites and in old notes is no longer valid. The pattern introduced under Advt. No. 02-Exam/2025 has completely changed the syllabus. The 100 question, 100 mark, 120 minute offline OMR paper is now in 3 parts: Part 1 (65 marks) consisting of Core GS, Hindi (10M), Data Interpretation (10M), Environment & Disaster Management (10M) and Rural Society (5M); Part 2 (15 marks) on Computer & IT (including AI, Big Data, IoT and Cyber Security); and Part 3 (20 marks) on Uttar Pradesh GK. There is a negative marking of 1/4th (-0.25) and NO interview.
- (2) No CCC certificate and no typing test required: Unlike in the case of UPSSSC Junior Assistant or Cane Supervisor, there is no requirement for a NIELIT CCC certificate or a computer typing test for Rajasva Lekhpal. The mandatory eligibility is a 10+2 (Intermediate) pass and a valid UPSSSC PET scorecard. You go straight from the 100 mark Mains exam to Document Verification.
- (3) Current cycle context: The 21 May 2026 Mains exam for 7994 posts has now concluded its evaluation cycle with the Document Verification results declared on 11 September 2026 (28,409 candidates shortlisted). The practice modules for the 2027 cycle have been designed to match this new pattern of the exam.
Preparation for UP state revenue examinations is all about discipline, the ability to interpret complex data tables, awareness of environmental issues and being fully conversant with the standards of the offline OMR pen and paper test. To get a Rajasva Lekhpal post under the Board of Revenue, Uttar Pradesh at Pay Level 3 you need a reliable diagnostic tool. A good UP Lekhpal mock test 2027 series will replicate the exact exam pattern and will assess your performance across the core GS, environment, computer and UP GK. This platform provides a complete and cycle aware practice ecosystem for 12th pass (Intermediate) aspirants who have a valid UPSSSC PET scorecard.
Clearing the 4 big confusions about the UPSSSC Lekhpal Exam 2026-27
Misinformation about the revenue recruitment rules spreads very quickly across the internet coaching forums. The actual administrative notification will tell you the correct test pattern before you even start your preparation.
| Confusion Point | Common Myth on Coaching Sites | Verified Administrative Reality |
|---|---|---|
| Exam Pattern & Syllabus | Assumes the old 4 section pattern (25 Hindi + 25 Maths + 25 GK + 25 Gram Samaj) is still in force. | The new 3 part pattern has 65 marks in Core GS/DI/Hindi/Environment/Gram Samaj, 15 marks in Computer/AI and 20 marks in UP GK. The standalone 25 mark Maths is now replaced by 10 marks Data Interpretation. |
| CCC & Typing Requirements | Claims that a NIELIT CCC certificate or a computer typing test is a must for Rajasva Lekhpal. | Rajasva Lekhpal requires only 10+2 Intermediate pass and a valid PET scorecard. No typing test and no CCC certificate is required. |
| Active Timeline Context | Treats the May 2026 exam as a future event or uses irrelevant quizzes. | The Advt. 02-Exam/2025 Mains exam was held on 21 May 2026 and the DV results were declared on 11 September 2026. The practice modules are designed for the 2027 cycle. |
| Departmental Classification | Mixes up Rajasva Lekhpal with Chakbandi Lekhpal or other operational rules. | Rajasva Lekhpal is a direct post of the Board of Revenue (Rajasva Parishad, UP) and is responsible for land records, mutation and disaster reporting. |

Marking Scheme and the 1/4 Negative Marking (-0.25) - Math
- Correct Answer: +1 Mark
- Incorrect Answer: -0.25 Mark (1/4th mark) deducted
- Unattempted Question: 0 Marks (no penalty)
Negative-Marking Safe-Guess Strategy Table
With +1 for a correct answer and -0.25 for a wrong answer, a blind guess among 4 options will yield an expected value of +0.0625 per question ((1/4 x 1) - (3/4 x 0.25) = +0.0625). Strategic elimination of options will improve your mathematical odds on OMR sheets:
| Elimination Level | Mathematical Odds | Expected Value per Guess | Strategic Recommendation on OMR |
|---|---|---|---|
| No Elimination (Blind Guess) | 1 in 4 chance of being correct | +0.0625 Marks | Pure blind guessing is mathematically neutral but targeted elimination will provide a clear advantage |
| 1 Option Eliminated | 1 in 3 chance of being correct | +0.167 Marks | Favorable odds; attempt the question if you can rule out 1 incorrect option |
| 2 Options Eliminated | 1 in 2 chance of being correct | +0.375 Marks | Excellent odds (50-50 chance); definitely bubble the answer on your OMR sheet |
Worked Example 1: If you attempt 90 questions, get 74 correct and 16 wrong:
Raw Score = (74 x 1) - (16 x 0.25) = 74 - 4 = 70.00 Marks
Worked Example 2: If a candidate attempts all 100 questions, gets 65 correct and 35 wrong:
Raw Score = (65 x 1) - (35 x 0.25) = 65 - 8.75 = 56.25 Marks

Product Feature: AI-Based Weak Area Recommendation
Smart Performance Coach

Taking practice tests without some form of diagnostic of your weak areas is absolutely a waste of time. The test engine has an inbuilt diagnostic tracking system which works as follows:
Once you've submitted a test, the analytical engine goes through your performance in a far more granular way than just looking at your overall percentile. It pinpoints the exact conceptual 'joints' where you've gone wrong across Part-1 Data Interpretation tables, Environmental Ecology rules, modern Computer/AI applications, or Uttar Pradesh General Knowledge.
It then creates specific revision advice which acts as your very own personal performance mentor, ensuring that your next attempt is focused precisely on your actual weak areas rather than just your well-known strengths.

Problem: The table below shows the wheat production (in thousand tonnes) across four districts of Uttar Pradesh over two years. Find the percentage increase in total wheat production from 2024 to 2025.
District A: 2024 = 120, 2025 = 150
District B: 2024 = 200, 2025 = 220
District C: 2024 = 80, 2025 = 110
District D: 2024 = 150, 2025 = 180
Step by Step Solution:
- Calculate total production in 2024: Total 2024 = 120 + 200 + 80 + 150 = 550 thousand tonnes
- Calculate total production in 2025: Total 2025 = 150 + 220 + 110 + 180 = 660 thousand tonnes
- Calculate percentage increase: Increase = 660 - 550 = 110 thousand tonnes. Percentage Increase = (110/550) x 100 = 20%.
Problem: राजस्व अभिलेखों में 'खसरा' (Khasra) क्या दर्शाता है और इसमें कुल कितने खाने (Columns) होते हैं? (What does 'Khasra' represent in land records and how many columns does it contain?)
Step-by-Step Solution:
- Definition: A Khasra is a legal land record which contains the details of each plot of land in a village including the name of the owner, type of crop, source of irrigation and the area.
- Columns: Under the UP Land Revenue Rules there are a total of 22 columns in a Khasra.
Part 2 (Computer, E-Governance, AI & Cyber Security — 15M) and Part 3 (Uttar Pradesh Special GK — 20M)
- Computer & IT (15M): Computer architecture, CPU, storage, operating systems, MS Office (Excel VLOOKUP, pivot tables), e-governance initiatives in UP (Bhoomi, e-District portal), cyber security, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Big Data processing and IoT sensors in smart agriculture.
- Uttar Pradesh GK (20M): UP history, art and culture, folk dances, physical divisions, climate, agro-climatic zones, major river systems, soil types, forest cover, irrigation canals, administrative divisions, revenue districts and UP government welfare schemes.

5 Common Mistakes UP Lekhpal Aspirants Make in Mock Tests and OMR Bubbling
- 1. Study the obsolete 2022 syllabus by doing mock tests on the old 25 mark Maths and Gram Samaj pattern? That's a complete waste of time. The actual exam has now changed to the 65 + 15 + 20 pattern.
- 2. Ignore Data Interpretation and Environment: not spending any time at all on the 10 mark DI charts and the 10 mark Environment section makes it almost impossible to clear the competitive cutoff.
- 3. Underestimate the weight of Computer and AI. Just knowing the basics of computer won't be enough as there are 15 marks on modern IT concepts (AI, Big Data, IoT etc).
- 4. Failing to practice offline OMR bubbling: if you're completely reliant on screen clicking and have not at all practised the actual pen and paper OMR bubbling then you're going to make bubbling errors and you're going to lose time.
- 5. Ignoring the negative marking discipline (i.e. just guessing at random without regard to the 0.25 mark penalty) will see your raw score get completely consumed during the multi shift evaluation.
